Suns vs Warriors Betting Pick
This game will be played at Chase Center at 10:00 PM ET on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
Why Bet The Warriors:
✅ The Phoenix Suns are the better team right now, but the Golden State Warriors have so much more to play for at the moment. Golden State is in a fight to remain in third place in the Western Conference, as a few losses down the stretch can drop them into the play-in tournament if they are not careful. They will cover at home despite being without Steph Curry here.
✅ While the Warriors’ recent losing streak without Steph Curry has been concerning, it is worth remembering that their recent struggles have been on the road. Golden State just lost three straight contests on the road against Memphis, Washington, and Atlanta, and should play better basketball on their home floor even without their top star.

✅ Outside of Curry’s absence, the Warriors are largely healthy coming down the stretch this season. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are back on the floor for Golden State, and their defensive ability will be a huge help against a team with the offensive depth that the Suns have. Being without Curry will likely help on the defensive end as well in this game, even if there is a huge defensive dropoff as a result.
Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns are once again in the midst of another long winning streak, as they have won eight straight games heading into this battle of Western Conference powers. The Suns have already clinched the top seed in the West, but continue to rack up wins against playoff caliber opponents. Their last three wins have come against the 76ers, Nuggets, and Timberwolves, all of whom will be participating in the postseason this year.
In this game, the Suns will look to clamp down defensively on a Warriors team that is without Steph Curry. Phoenix will still have Klay Thompson and Draymond Green to contend with, along with sharp shooting role players like Jordan Poole. While the lack of Curry gives the Suns an edge here, this game could be closer than most would think.
Golden State Warriors
As for the Golden State Warriors, they have been struggling mightily as of late, losing four of five games in their recently concluded road trip. Here, Golden State is back at home and will look to get back on track. If they fail to do so, they could see themselves slip out of the top-three in the Western Conference and into the play-in tournament if things go poorly enough for them down the stretch.
To get the better of the Suns here, Kevon Looney is going to play a key role for the Warriors. Looney will be tasked with guarding Deandre Ayton throughout this game, who is not only a proficient scorer for the Suns, but also a very efficient scorer as he can score from the mid-range or the post without taking up too many shot attempts. Looney will need to keep him from getting position too close to the basket to prevent him from getting going.
