76ers vs Raptors Game 3 Betting Pick
This game will be played at ScotiaBank Centre at 7:30 PM ET on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Why Bet The Raptors:
✅ The Raptors got some woeful shooting from Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam in the second game of this series. They shot a combined 14/43 from the field in Game 2, and will likely pick things up at home in Game 3. Expect a better showing from the Toronto stars and for the Raptors to get back into this series.
✅ While Scottie Barnes is doubtful for the Raptors again in Game 3, Gary Trent Jr. could be making his way back onto the floor for the Raptors. He was out due to an illness for the majority of Game 2, but his return to the floor could completely change the way that the Raptors function on the offensive end. His perimeter shooting will be a game changer if he plays.

✅ Philadelphia made 14 of its 30 three-point attempts in the second game of this series in Philadelphia. In Game 3, the 76ers are going to regress somewhat in the three-point shooting department. Their lower shooting percentage from the perimeter will cost them in this game, as the Raptors will raise their game while the Sixers take a step backward.
Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers could not have asked for a better start to this series against the Toronto Raptors, beating them by double figures in both games to start things out. But as the series shifts to Toronto, there is no guarantee that the Sixers continue to play at such a high level. And with one of their top perimeter defenders and chemistry guys set to miss the road games in this series, the Sixers could look very different in Game 3.
Matisse Thybulle is set to miss Games 3 and 4 of this series as he has not met the vaccination requirements in Canada that would have otherwise allowed him to take the court. Without Thybulle, the Sixers will be a weaker squad on the defensive end. Whether that is enough to shift things completely in the Raptors favor remains to be seen, but the Raptors will have a much better chance to win with Thybulle out of the picture.
Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors will head North of the border for the next two games of this series, after a rough start against the 76ers in Games 1 and 2. The crowd in Toronto is going to give the Raptors a huge lift for the next two games, as they are typically one of the loudest in the league during home playoff games. But the question for the Raptors is whether they have the personnel to take advantage of being at home.
For the Raptors, the biggest key to this game is going to be keping Joel Embiid and James Harden off of the free throw line. Those two players combined for 22 free throw attempts in the second game of this series. If the Raptors can make them earn their points from the field whenever possible, they could do enough to cut their deficit to 2-1 heading into Game 4.
