With the NBA Finals tied at 2-2, Monday night’s Game 5 will have huge implications for both teams and the legacies of the players involved. In today’s NBA predictions, give you our Celtics vs Warriors Game 5 parlay. Here, we combine the point spread with a couple of player props that we see playing out in the biggest game of the NBA season so far.
Pick 1 | Warriors -4 @ -108 |
Pick 2 | Derrick White Under 12.5 Points @ -116 |
Pick 3 | Steph Curry Under 5.5 Made Threes @ -140 |
Parlay Odds | +483 ($20 bet wins $96.76) |
Pick #1: Golden State Warriors -4 (-108)
Golden State is 10-1 at home this postseason, and the point spread has not been a factor in the NBA Finals so far. Either the underdog has won outright, or the favorite has covered the spread in each game. Here, I think that the favorite will cover the spread, as the Warriors will continue to be the better second half team en route to a win in this pivotal contest.

Pick #2: Derrick White Under 12.5 Points (-116)
So far in this series, Derrick White has not been efficient shooting the basketball. Outside of Game 1, White has failed to make a third of his shots from the field in a game. As a result, we are going to add his point total under to this Celtics vs Warriors Game 5 parlay. As long as he does not get to the line with the volume he did in Game 4, the Warriors should be able to keep him in check.

Pick #3: Steph Curry Under 5.5 Threes (-140)
Steph Curry has been shooting the lights out in this series so far, making five or more threes in each game. But the Celtics are going to throw more bodies at him and force him to facilitate here. That will help other members of the Warriors get open looks that they need to knock down shots, but it will not help Curry hit the over on his made threes prop. The under is the way to go in this one.

Celtics vs Warriors Game 5 Preview
The role players on both the Celtics and Warriors have been deciding the NBA Finals to this point, as the stars on both sides have largely cancelled each other out. Players like Jordan Poole, Al Horford, and Derrick White have had huge hands in determining the outcome of each Finals game. That will be the case again here, as the Warriors hope Draymond Green made a breakthrough in Boston on Friday night.
Green had fouled out of two of the first three games of this series heading into Game 4. But he managed to make several key plays down the stretch on Friday on the defensive end, staying on the floor and helping the Warriors when he did. If he can do that again on Monday, Golden State could take their first lead of this series.
