Why Bet The Warriors:
✅ Both Warriors and Clippers have struggled to cover lately. LA has covered the spread only once in its last six games, while Golden State has gone 0-4-1 ATS over its previous five. We have to look at the Warriors in this spot, as Golden State has emerged victorious in ten of its past 12 contests. The Dubs are No. 2 seed in the West, while the Clippers are No. 8, trailing the Warriors by 14.5 games. LA has dropped five of its last eight games overall and six of its last ten games on the home court.
✅ The Warriors’ defense should be a key factor in this matchup. Golden State yields only 104.4 points per 100 possessions (1st in the league) on 43.0% shooting from the field (also 1st) and 33.2% from beyond the 3-point line (tied-1st). The Clippers score 107.6 points per 100 possessions (26th), and over its last four showings, LA has averaged 106.5 points a night.

✅ On the offensive side of things, look for the Splash Brothers to carry the Warriors past the Clippers. Steph Curry bullied the Clippers for 45 points in a 115-113 home win on October 21, 2021. Back in November, Curry dropped 33 on the Clippers, as Golden State grabbed an easy 105-90 win in LA. Klay Thompson will look to extend his good run of form (20.3 PPG in the last eight games) after tallying 33 points in a 117-115 win to the Lakers last Saturday.
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors continue to impress despite missing Draymond Green (back). In their last 12 outings without a six-time NBA All-Defensive, the Warriors have gone 10-2 straight up and 4-6-2 ATS, allowing 110.7 points per 100 possessions (tied-11th in the league).
Golden State stopped a two-game slide this past Saturday. After losing at Utah 111-85 and to New York 116-114, the Dubs outlasted the Los Angeles Lakers 117-115 as 6.5-point home favorites. Klay Thompson racked up 16 of his season-high 33 points in the fourth quarter, while Stephen Curry finished with 24 points and eight assists.
Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers (28-30 SU; 27-31 ATS) have been a hit-or-miss all season long. They’ve gone 3-5 SU and ATS in their last eight outings, allowing 115.6 points per 100 possessions and scoring just 110.5 in a return. LA has struggled with injuries as well, and Norman Powell’s toe injury is another issue for Tyronn Lue and his boys.
With both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the shelf, the Clippers continue to lean on guys like Reggie Jackson (16.6 PPG, 4.2 APG), Terance Mann (10.2 PPG, 5.2 RPG), and Ivica Zubac (9.4 PPG, 7.9 RPG). Last Saturday, LA put an end to its three-game losing streak with a 99-97 road victory over Dallas, and Reggie Jackson led the way for the Clippers with 24 points, eight assists, and five rebounds.
