Bulls vs Bucks Game 2 Betting Pick
This game will be played at Fiserv Forum at 9:30 PM ET on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Why Bet The Bulls:
✅ Chicago did not win Game 1, but the covered the spread despite an abysmal shooting performance from their two stars in DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine. They shot a combined 12/44 from the field, and their statistics indicate that they will at least put together a respectable performance in Game 2. If they can make just a few more shots tonight, Chicago can win this game, and cover the spread with ease.
✅ As a team, the Bulls shot under 35% from the field and under 20% from three-point range. While some of that had to do with the defense of the Bucks, most of it had to do with the poor shooting of Chicago. They will move closer to their averages in this game and that will help them to keep this game within single digits.

✅ One thing Chicago did well in Game 1 was create second chances, as they won the offensive rebounding battle with the Bucks. The problem for Chicago in Game 1 was that they could not convert those second chance opportunities. They will do a better job of hitting shots, including on second chances, to cover the number.
Chicago Bulls
It was an ugly offensive game for the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks. Chicago scored just 86 points, making just 7 of their 37 attempts from three-point range. In Game 2, the Bulls will need more out of their top trio of DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic, who combined to make less than a third of their shots in the opening game of the series.
DeRozan, LaVine, and Vucevic combined for 60 points in Game 1, but they needed over 70 field goal attempts to get to that number. Their lack of efficiency was astonishing, especially from three-point range where they shot a combined 4/22. If they cannot find the range from distance, the Bulls could be on their way to a 2-0 deficit heading back to Chicago.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks did not have a good offensive showing either on Sunday, failing to break 100 points in Game 1 against the Bulls. But their defense did enough to get them a win anyway, in a game that was close down the stretch despite a fast start for Milwaukee. In Game 2, the Bucks will hope for more from Khris Middleton to really set themselves apart from their Central Division rivals.
Middleton went 4/13 from the field in the first game of this series, which is not good enough given Middleton’s stature in the league today. He went 1/7 from three-point range, which allowed the Bulls to stay in the game despite all of their offensive woes. In this game, you get the feeling that things will come down to who raises their level from Game 1 more between Middleton and the DeRozan, LaVine, and Vucevic trio for Chicago.
