Nets vs Celtics
The vaunted 2 seed in the East has not played out with the doom and gloom projected to come with it. Leading into the playoffs, most analysis stated whichever of the top teams in the East drew the Nets as an opponent would be in trouble. That has played out in the complete opposite direction with the Nets on the brink.
Game 4 comes with the Nets down 3-0 and facing elimination. Of course no team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit. It is now just a matter of time now for the Nets offseason to begin.
The first three games have all been competitive. It is not as if the Nets have been blown out of the water in any of these games. That said they have not been able to get the job done down the stretch in any of these games and it is likely to be the case again in Nets vs Celtics Game 4.

Why Bet The Celtics
✅ The Celtics 3-0 lead in the series should not come as an overwhelmingly surprising one. Despite the tough draw with an under seeded Nets team, the Celtics have been one of the toughest teams in the league for the second half of the season. They won 34 of their last 44 games, and that pace would have easily put them in the top spot in the East. They also closed the season winning 15 of 19 road games. Location of the game did not remotely suppress the Celtics late season effectiveness.
✅ Jayson Tatum has been the best player in this series. High praise considering he is going against Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Tatum has scored in bunches and shot well. He has surpassed the 30 point mark in two of the three games thus far. Tatum has also filled the stat sheet. He is averaging five rebounds, eight assists, 2.3 steals and a block per game. He has also shot nearly 40% form three point range.
✅ On the other side of the series and the coin, Kevin Durant has been a disappointment. The Celtics have doubled often and swarmed him with defense. He’s averaged just 22 points per game. That is down over seven points from his season average. Kyrie Irving has also lacked consistency. After a 39 point explosion in Game 1, he has totaled just 26 points in the two games since. Bruce Brown has easily been the Nets most effective player. This is alarming for the Nets and their stars, both for the current year and the future.
