Josh Emmett vs Dan Ige Betting Preview
Dan Ige is a fighter who made a somewhat unlikely ascension to the top 10. The number of wins he was able to notch surprised a lot of people. That said, with two losses in his last three fights, we can safely assume he has reached his ceiling. When facing elevated competition in the likes of Korean Zombie and Calvin Kattar, he was beaten somewhat easily. Despite these losses, Ige is now faced with the most difficult fight of his career against Josh Emmett. Ige will be at a striking disadvantage overall, but will be at a massive power disadvantage. Emmett is going to crack Ige harder than he’s ever been cracked in the cage, and we will see how he responds to that power.

Emmett has Ige covered in so many ways in this fight. He seems to be past his days of worrying an opponent might knock him out and bringing some level of cautiousness. His last fight and destruction of Shane Burgos was evidence of that. Ige is simply not a fighter that packs big power that will keep Emmett up at night. Emmett on the other hand has the heaviest hands of any featherweight in the world. He can knock any opponent out at any given time. Three of his last four wins have come via KO and we are likely to see a repeat. Ige will be eager to grapple after feeling the power, but Emmett has him covered on the wrestling. Emmett is simply better. Ige could have some success if he some how gets the fight to the floor, but that is unlikely.
What To Bet
We are going to see the power of Emmett rule the day. Ige has struggled against elevated competition and that trend will continue. We are going to be aggressive with this bet. We will forego the -170 flat line on Emmett for the +240 ITD line. The ITD line simply does not reflect the power of Emmett and it is a screaming value.
Betting Pick: Emmett ITD +240
