Game three of the World Series is set for Monday night when the Houston Astros visit the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies took game one in what can only be described as an instant classic, while Houston evened the series up with a dominant showing in game two. Below is my MLB pick for game three.

Houston Astros vs Philadelphia Phillies Betting Pick
Why Bet The Philadelphia Phillies
✅ Lance McCullers Jr. is a much different pitcher on the road than at home. McCullers Jr had a 3.57 road ERA compared to his 1.50 home ERA.
✅ Philadelphia was a poor road team during the regular season, but they were 47-34 at the Bank and can beat any team, and any pitcher, at home.
✅ The Phillies are 5-0 at home this postseason and this environment will be nothing like the Astros have seen in quite some time.
Houston Astros
Houston got back on track in game two with a 5-2 win. The Astros put three runs on the board in the first inning as they jumped all over Zack Wheeler. Houston started the game with three doubles, and two runs, on the games first four pitches. Alex Bregman gave the ‘Stros a five-run lead with a two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The Phillies kept fighting, but they could never get the hit they needed.
Lance McCullers Jr. will take the mound for Houston in game three and he is 0-0 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.18 WHIP this postseason. McCullers has been lights out for his entire career in the postseason, so he will not be nervous by the occasion.
Yuli Gurriel has been hot this postseason as he leads the Astros with a .342 batting average and 13 hits. Alex Bregman leads the way with three home runs and nine RBIs, while Chas McCormick has a team high .400 on base percentage.
Philadelphia Phillies
Philadelphia did exactly what they needed to do in Houston, so they will feel good heading back home. The Philly crowd has been electric, and willing this team to victory, so the Phillies will hope to win the next three and clinch at home on Wednesday.
Noah Syndergaard gets the start in game three and his is 0-0 with a 1.69 ERA and 0.75 WHIP this postseason. Syndergaard has solid career postseason numbers, but this will be the biggest occasion of his career.
Bryce Harper is having a legendary postseason as he leads the Phillies with a .392 batting average, five home runs, and 11 RBIs. Harper’s numbers are ridiculous as he also leads Philadelphia with a .426 on base percentage and 20 hits. Just an unreal
