The New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians split the first two games of their ALDS series at Yankee Stadium. That sets the stage for a pivotal Game 3 in Cleveland on Saturday night. With rain postponing Game 2 to Friday in the Bronx, there will be no travel day for these teams, which could have a huge impact on the outcome here. In our MLB betting picks for Saturday night, we look at Yankees vs Guardians Game 3 from Northeast Ohio.

Why Bet The Guardians:
✅ The Yankees bats have gone cold in the postseason so far, especially Aaron Judge. Against an elite arm in that of Triston McKenzie, the top of the Yankees lineup will continue to showcase its lack of depth and what happens when they face top of the line pitching en route to another victory for the Guardians here.

✅ Luis Severino is set to take the mound for the Yankees in this contest, and that has the potential to be a mixed bag for the Yankees here. Severino barely hit 100 innings pitched this season, as injuries have routinely been a problem for him. Big stage pitching is not something he is all that used to at this point in his career, and we could see him stumble here.
✅ So far in the MLB playoffs, the Guardians have gone 2-0 at home heading into Yankees vs Guardians Game 3. In those games, they held the Tampa Bay Rays to one total run. Expect the pitching of the Guardians to continue to perform at a high level in front of an incredible home crowd at Progressive Field.
New York Yankees
The New York Yankees failed to maintain home field advantage in the first two games of the ALDS. They defeated the Cleveland Guardians in Game 1, but fell short in Game 2 in extra innings after a terrible defensive 10th inning. Here, the Yankees will need to win one of the next two games to grab home field advantage back from the Guardians.
If the Yankees are going to do that, they are going to need Aaron Judge to be more productive at the plate. Judge went 0-5 with four strikeouts on Friday afternoon for the Yankees, his fourth four-strikeout playoff game in his career. After an incredible regular season, Judge will need to break through if the Yankees are going to get a big win here.
Cleveland Guardians
The Cleveland Guardians will have to feel good coming out of the first two games of the ALDS against the New York Yankees. They rebounded from a Game 1 loss with a 10-inning win in Game 2, demonstrating their grit and the ability of their pitching staff. Here, the Guardians will roll into Game 3 with momentum and a raucous home crowd on their side.
In this game, the offense of the Guardians still needs to be better than it has been throughout the playoffs so far. Cleveland has averaged two runs per game in the playoffs so far, but their two-run 10th inning was a product of defensive mistakes from the Yankees more than quality hitting. If the Guardians can put runs on the board without help from the Yankees here, they could give themselves two chances to advance to the ALCS.
