North Dakota State vs Kansas Betting Pick
This game will be played at Allen Fieldhouse at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.
Why Bet On Kansas:
✅ North Dakota State stayed within this margin in their season opener against Arkansas. The Bison are 1-0 against the spread against Power 5 opponents this season, and will move to 2-0 here.
✅ One reason the Bison managed to cover against Arkansas is that they remained competitive on the glass. North Dakota State finished their season opener at -5 on the glass, which is admirable against a power conference opponent, and that will help them here.
✅ Kansas shot 40% from three-point range in their season opener against Omaha. They will regress slightly in that department en route to North Dakota State covering the number.

North Dakota State Bison
The North Dakota State Bison lost their first game to the Arkansas Razorbacks by 18 points. While they battled in their opener, in the end the difference in offensive execution was too great for the Bison to overcome. Here, the Bison will need to string together some better possessions to avoid a blowout loss to Kansas.
Against Arkansas, the Bison only managed seven assists in 40 minutes. Better ball movement will be needed to get the Kansas defense off-balance and with that would come a less paltry assist number.
Kansas Jayhawks
For the Kansas Jayhawks, this part of the season is more of a tune-up than anything. Before they take part in more prestigious early season competitions, the Jayhawks are expected to feast on mid-major competition at home. In their opener, they did just that, beating Omaha by 25 points.
Kansas was incredibly efficient from the floor against Omaha, shooting better than 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range. If they continue to shoot the ball well, Kansas will be next to impossible to beat before they get involved in matchups against better competition.
