Argonauts vs Tiger-Cats Betting Preview
There are misleading finals and last week’s 37-20 Toronto victory over the Tiger-Cats definitely fits into that category. The Tiger-Cats were their own worst enemy, throwing three interceptions, losing a fumble and turning the ball over twice on downs. Hamilton had a 452-301 yardage advantage but couldn’t overcome their miscues and were soundly beaten, blowing an early 13-3 advantage.
Matt Shiltz is likely to miss this game, so Hamilton’s two-headed quarterback situation is going to turn into the Dane Evans show, although he also missed practice on Wednesday, leaving former Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman to play with the first team in practice. Evans was thought of as the better passer of the two, although you wouldn’t have been able to tell from last week’s play.
The Argonauts rushing game was virtually non-existent last week, with Toronto gaining 43 yards on 10 attempts, but Mcleod Bethel-Thompson threw for 258 yards and three TDs. Bethel-Thompson isn’t flashy but he is generally productive, throwing for 2,764 yards on the season, which is second-best in the league.
Obviously, the Argos would like to run the ball a bit better, while the Tiger-Cats can say the same thing, as neither team averages 82 yards per game on the ground. There have been plenty of passes thrown in the games between the two so far this season and we could see more of the same.

Argonauts vs Tiger-Cats Pick & Prediction
These teams are no strangers to each other and this will be the fourth time in five weeks they’ve squared off. It’s unlikely that anybody has something up their sleeve they’ve been saving for this game.
There have been plenty of points scored in the previous three games and don’t see either really doing anything different than they have.
