Argonauts vs Elks Betting Preview
Toronto was able to get a big win over British Columbia last week, as the Lions bounced a potential game-tying field goal off the uprights, and now have an opportunity to solidify their hold on the No. 1 spot in the East against an Edmonton team still looking for its first home win of the season.
The Argonauts had 424 total yards against a decent Lion defense a week ago and should be able to move the ball against an Edmonton team that ranks last in scoring defense, last in rushing defense, and is No. 7 in total defense. The fact the Elks are last in the league in scoring offense and passing offense hasn’t helped the defense, as it’s tough when you’re running back onto the field after a couple of plays and a punt.
Toronto is last in the league in rushing offense, but No. 3 in passing behind Mcleod Bethel-Thompson, who leads the league in passing yardage and is No. 3 in TD passes. The Argonauts spread the ball around well, with no single receiver having more than four TD receptions.
For the Elks, it’s another opportunity to end a lengthy home losing streak that dates back to 2019. The Elks are 2-12 ATS their last 14 games at home and have not covered the spread in front of the home fans this season.

Argonauts vs Elks Pick & Prediction
The Elks are obviously feeling a little pressure about getting a home win and putting an end to their losing streak and it’s shown at times, as Edmonton hasn’t loss by less than a touchdown at Commonwealth Stadium this season. Toronto has a lot more to play for in this one, but think we see some points from both teams.
